Homework stuck on desk

For years that bug me when child / teen come bome from school and drop
homework book on the desk next to computer but cant pick it up after that ?
I had to move that book move to the floor everytime...

Anyone ?

I don't know why they can't pick it up, but then mine never did put it on
the desk beside the computer, but on the floor beside the desk, where they
could do it no problem.

Now, I give them their own desks, if their home has the room, and get them
the desk locator from MTS. The desk can't have a computer on it, but this
is the best way of keeping that homework where it should be.

but I think still problem if the computer on the desk and book sit on left
side and still will problem can't pick it up because of that computer on
right side. that block sim because want sit on the c hir where computer
is...I suprise MAXIS didnt fix this ?

This hack help to where to put book on the desk or table

It does. Each child will put their homework in the place you want it. Put
something on the left hand side of desks to stop them using it, if you want
to be sure.
